We reserve the right to hold animals longer than the minimum time required by law.
We reserve the right to refuse to adopt to anyone for good cause.

An individual that has turned an animal in has first chance to adopt it, if and
when it becomes available. County residents have second choice.
After 7 days the animal is available to rescue groups.

All animals will need to pass a basic screen prior to adoption.

All potential adoptees will fill out an adoption form prior to animal selection.

No animal that has a history of biting or one that
has been deemed vicious will be adoptable.

All dogs and cats will be required to receive a rabies vaccination within
72 hours of release from shelter if over 3 months of age.

No animal will be removed from its pen prior to approval.

We make no promises about house training, medical history or pureness of breed.

We do not divulge who animals have been adopted to.

Animals may be returned up to 7 dayz at no cost.

All cows, horses, sheep, etc. will go through auction process per state law.
If relinquished ones become available, they will be posted.

All dogs released within Sevier County will be licensed
within 10 days of release from shelter.

Citations will be issued for all none compliance to rabies vaccinations.
